I’m a 14 year old boy from Scotland who has started a sponsor page hoping to get some support for my downhill mountain bike racing. I started mountain biking a couple of years ago and last year I seriously started getting into the sport. I came 6th overall in my first year in a mini downhill series and I came 2nd in a couple of enduro races. Although the 2018 season was extremely expensive, this year is even more expensive. I am racing the British National Downhill Series, Scottish Downhill series, mini downhill series and a couple other races in 2019 so race entries alone cost just under £1000. Going with that I think you can guess how much accommodation, travel, keeping the bikes in good condition, clothes etc. will cost on top of that. I have been trying hard to get a job, but as a 14 year old boy in the centre of Edinburgh it is quite difficult, especially not being able to work at weekends with training and race commitments. It would be a huge help if you could contribute by donating just a little bit of money to my goal so I can afford to keep up with the sport and ultimately get a few good results this year. Thanks
